Urban Education

So I've put together two outfits that are college budget friendly and I've also used a lot of items most people have already sitting in their wardrobes, be they worn or not. Although I hate the idea of buying into "trends", I essentially tried to incorporate a few of the latest looks into an everyday wardrobe, without looking like a complete fashion victim and without spending your months rent.

Dungarees are strongly featuring in nearly every high street store's S/S13 collection. You would literally want to have been living under a rock to have missed this. Despite the fact the word hillbilly is probably ringing in your ears, their "naffness" has suddenly become cool. I've teamed this pair with a River Island crop top, a really simple pair of H&M sandals, a black clear Forever 21 bag along with some statement silver jewellery. These link chains are massive at the moment and are available in several different shops, most notably Topshop or River Island. They go with pretty much everything as well which makes them worth the few euro. You'll find the dungarees themselves in almost every shop you'll walk into, but Zara in particular have a number of different takes on the trend.

Walk onto any college campus and you'll definitely have to start counting the amount of army print jackets that will skip past you. Probably a bit of a short lived trend, but a few more wears can be had out of these over the Summer.

I've teamed this one from Urban Outfitters with one of my favourite items from Topshop at the moment, the number 86 tshirt. This is available in black and blue also and its something that really makes an outfit that bit more on trend with its baseball jersey type look. I've paired this with a pair of simple bicycle shorts, on the off chance that there's a bit of sun, a pair of old reliable black, high top Converse and a black leather H&M backpack. Again in this outfit I've chosen another link chain from Topshop.
